Adam Levine, Maroon 5 frontman and a coach on “The Voice,” is launching his own record label, called 222. The first artist signed to the label is Matthew Morrison, best known as the character Will Schuester from “Glee,” whose sophomore album will be released on the label in the Spring. In addition to his role on “Glee,” Schuester will be starring alongside Cameron Diaz in the upcoming film “What To Expect When Expecting,” out this May, and has been nominated for Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe awards.Starting my own label has been a long time goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening,” Adam, 32, shared. “I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”Added Matthew, 33, “I am excited to be working on my next album with such an incredible singer, writer and producer as Adam Levine.
