Before ‘Glee’ it was B.P.Y.T.
POSTED ON Aug 18, 2010 BY Valentina INUncategorized

I knew we weren’t done with Matthew Morrison, an O.C. boy done good and a star in “Glee.” He’d left too many footprints around O.C. for my column of last week to just sit there without someone coming out of the woodwork.I’d been hoping it would be one of his old “crew,” one of the other little miscreants he’d played white-boy wannabe rapper with in the ’90s, when they’d go around tagging and practice break-dancing. No, but we did get a call from a Mrs. Ruth Walp of Buena Park.Of course, I was hoping the dear lady had something I could spin into a tale of debauchery, but when it appeared not even a scintilla of dirt would be forthcoming, I sent Kathleen to see her and procure some tame but sweet photos of a young Morrison in some of his first stage roles. (See our photo slide show.)Mrs. Walp was the founding director of the Buena Park Youth Theatre, which Morrison joined in the early 1990s
