Talking exclusively to Metro, Morrison - aka Will Schuester in the show - said the Someone Like You sensation would fit the high school’s bill perfectly, just like Madonna and Britney.
He also wants to duet with the 22-year-old after transforming into a real life solo music star.
‘I love Adele,’ Morrison told us.
‘Turning Tables is one of my favourite songs right now. I don’t know if she’s an actress but I’d love to hear her music on Glee.’
After dueting with Elton John and Gwyneth Paltrow on his debut self-titled album, Morrison understandably wants Britain’s chart queen in his own studio after her album 21 swept to the top of the US charts.
‘It would be my extreme honour to work with her. I think her voice is from another planet. She’s so amazing.’

On working with the Rocket Man, he said: ‘Working with Elton is like watching David Beckham play soccer. It’s like watching someone do what they do. He’s such a student of music. He’s so smart with music and he knows so much.’
Morrison, 32, wants Sir Elton on his hit show, too, and has just the perfect role for the 63-year-old. ‘I think it would be a really funny storyline if Elton and Sue Sylvester started dating.’
As for Morrison himself, his album is out on May 9 but eager fans can pre-order it now.
His first British solo shows begin in June.

Matthew Morrison, star of hit television show Glee, has revealed he feels "surrounded by love but still alone" as legions of fans don't know his real name.

The American actor and singer is releasing his self-titled debut album after rising to fame playing Spanish teacher Will Schuester in the cult show about an embattled high school singing club.

Morrison joined BBC Breakfast to discuss what the songs on his album are really about and confess what it was like to duet with Elton John and Gwyneth Paltrow.
