As already announced, Matt is gonna serve as Chairman for "A Swingin' Singin' Salute to the Stars of the USO!", the 2011 Gala of his former high school, Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA), taking place at the Hyatt Regency Irvine on March 19.

Here's what he says about the event:

"If it weren't for the Orange County High School of the Arts, I wouldn't be where I am today," he wrote in an email on a flight to Dallas for Super Bowl weekend.
"It's very important for me to give back to the school and the people who helped me get to this stage in my career. When I was in high school, I was at a crossroads trying to decide between sports and the arts. Dr. Ralph Opacic, the school's founder, encouraged me to pursue the arts."
Morrison said he might be bringing a surprise to the party.
"I'm hopeful that some of my "Glee" castmates will be able to join me at the event if their schedules allow. You'll just have to come to the gala to find out who!"
