When the Kennedy Center Honors stormed Washington on Sunday night, the name everyone was talking about was honoree Oprah Winfrey. (She shared the award with Paul McCartney, dancer and choreographer Bill T. Jones, country singer Merle Haggard and Broadway composer Jerry Herman.) But when “Glee’s” Matthew Morrison got up on stage for a twirling, somersaulting rendition of “It’s Today” (from Herman’s musical “Mame”), it was like, Oprah who? Afterward, around 1 am, he did an encore for the crowd gathered at the Honors after-party, singing “Sway,” “My Fair Lady” and, in the video above, “The Street Where You Live.”Source
