Storming Summer – Metrosource interview!
POSTED ON May 15, 2011 BY Valentina INUncategorized

Glee took Matthew Morrison from broadway to superstardom; this summer he hopes that the planned world tour coinciding with the release of his first album gives him a healthy dose of the world of live stage performances he reluctantly left behind.“My hair has become such a thing now,” Matthew Morrison tells Metrosource, when we asked if he ever wants to buzz it all off again like he did in 2007. “I was supposed to buzz it off during the Britney episode and have like a Britney moment but it ended up not happening.”Of course not! Had they cut the curls of the man who plays everyone’s favorite glee club coach, how could Sue Sylvester deliver quips like “I thought I smelled cookies wafting from the ovens of the little elves that live in your hair” or “I don’t trust a man with curly hair. I can’t help picturing small birds laying sulfurous eggs in there, and I find it disgusting”?But Morrison isn’t bothered by all the shots at his characters’ hair (even if it is, for all intents and purposes, also his hair). “I love it, actually,” he says. “No one gets away unscathed on our show. They talk about Lea’s nose or Cory’s inability to dance. Everyone gets taken shots at; so it’s almost kind of fun now. It’s like: What are they going to make fun of this week? Oh, my small hands.”Just as the Glee cast members take turns being the butt of the show’s jokes, they also take turns being center stage on the show. “I can have a really big, strong week, and then I’m barely in it the next week,” Morrison says. “And actually it’s good for all of us, too, because the show is so hard to do that I’m like: Ok, I can actually breathe this week a little bit.”In particular, Morrison has been impressed by the way the show has tackled Kurt’s sexuality
